General Information: 1.Two (2) group discussion rooms are currently useable on the ground floor level of the College of Science Library (CSLIB). These rooms are available for use by CS and non-CS students for discussion on topics directly related to their studies, group reports and assignments, after class discussion, and reviews. 2.Group Discussion Rooms are available for use within the library operation hours: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday and 8:00 am to 12:00 nn on Saturdays. 3.Minimum of four (4) and maximum of eight (8) students can be accommodated per discussion room. 4.Walk-in users must check-in by registering his/her countersigned ID at the Internet/Computer Section. 5.For advance reservation, you may call 981-8500 local 3807 and look for Mr. Alfredo Bambalan, email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. (including your Full Name, Student Number, College/Institute, Number of Users and Purpose) or visit the Internet/Computer Section at the ground floor level of the CS library. Please be advised that you must check-in ten (10) minutes before your scheduled time. Failure to register means that the reservation is void. 6.Use of a Discussion Room is limited to two (2) hours but can be extended subject to prioritization of users. For extension of usage, please approach the Internet/Computer Section staff for assistance.
Regulations for Room Use: 1.Food and drinks are not allowed inside the discussion rooms. Inappropriate behavior such as gambling, vandalism, smoking and inappropriate sexual behavior towards self and others are prohibited. 2.Under all circumstances, chairs and tables must not be taken out from the Discussion Room. 3.Users must clear the rooms at the end of the loan period, and must leave the rooms clean and tidy. 4.Users should not leave any valuable belongings in the Discussion Rooms. CS Library will not be liable for any loss.
